I met Elizabeth Poett in Waco, TX after we both started filming our shows for The Magnolia Network. Elizabeth is the rare combination of movie star glamour and a down-to-earth rancher. Those things seem an impossible mix and yet, Elizabeth pulls it off with rugged elegance. She has a passion for her traditions, her land, and her family, which makes her so relatable.

Her new cookbook tells the story of her picture book ranch, filled with cattle, honey bees, lavender fields, and views one could never get tired of. Most importantly it is where her family has lived for seven generations.

I am decidedly a city dweller but I am so captivated and curious about her bucolic world. If you’ve seen her show, Ranch to Table, you’ve probably felt the same pull to ranch life. You can get her recipes and stories in her new book, The Ranch Table, which includes this family-favorite peanut butter meringue pie. Be sure to check out Elizabeth’s show! Season 4 just launched on Magnolia Network.

I love a good chocolate cream pie with meringue!
My favorite is fresh Michigan Red Haven peach pie. Double crust of course with a nice sprinkle of sugar on top.
My favorite pie is coconut cream!
My favorite pie is my Mema’s apple pie made with her mother’s crust recipe. So delicious and nostalgic!
My favorite pie is Salted Carmel Banana Cream. Everything is made from scratch. It is yummy!
My favorite would have to be pumpkin pie. It comes around once a year at Thanksgiving, which is my favorite holiday. So many good family memories!!
My mother had many talents and professions. One of her many talents was a baker and caterer. However, it was her mother, my grandmother who taught me how to bake the most delicious pies. She taught me that it all started with a flaky crust made with lard. Since my grandfather and her grew apple trees, my favorite pie is her apple pie recipe. It was the cinnamon and the butter on top of the filling that made it irresistible!
MY FAVORITE IS PUMPKIN PIE THAT I MAKE —- I LOVE PEANUT BUTTER AND THIS RECIPE LOOKS DELISH — WILL HAVE TO TRY IT.

I love Lemon meringue pie, but my favorite peanut butter recipe is from a friend and I make them every Christmas- it is homemade peanut butter cups.
My Mom taught me to mix up pie crust when I was 7 years old. I love baking pies. Favorites—lemon, cherry and apple. Actually, I’ve never met a pie I didn’t like. The peanut butter meringue is one I will try.
I really do not have a favorite pie – I just love pie, whatever the flavor. If I had to pick just one it would probably be a Tart Cherry from Michigan cherries.
My favorite pie is German Chocolate Pie. It is the best.
Lemon Meringue Pie!! Honestly though, any pie!! And anything peanut butter! lol
My mom’s Apple pie!
I Love all Pies!! How can you choose just one!
I have never made a pie, yet! I think this winter will be the the year.
Kindly,

My favorite pie is Apple, I live in Wenatchee, Washington the Apple Capital of the World. I choose to use mix of 3/4 Granny Smiths and 1/4 Goldens. Granny’s add the right amount of tartness. My Granny that was with us for a short 86 years always had an apple pie or three in her freezer at all times. We always serve with vanilla ice cream. It’s the best!
It’s hard to beat a classic apple pie using 2 types of apples and plenty of lemon juice.
In the fall, Apple Pie with crumb topping. In the summer Lemon Meringue or Strawberrypie!
I love peanut butter anything and would love this new cookbook! My favorite pie of all time is coconut cream.
Greek Bougatsa (Custard Pie with Phyllo and ground Cinnamon) is my absolute favourite pie.
My favorite pie is my husband’s apple pie–he’s a wonderful pie baker!
Does Boston Cream Pie count as a pie??? LOL, it’s the perfect combo of cake, custard, gnache served in the shape of a piece of pie. If not, my all time favorite pie used to be pecan, but it’s become too sweet for my liking, so I’d have to say now it’s Coconut Cream.
