Hi! We double checked and the amounts are correct! Every publishing house and author has their own weight for a cup of flour. This recipe was based on one from Zoë's bread books, which used the scoop & sweep method for measuring cups, which = 5oz (142g). I hope this helps and sorry for the confusion!

This recipe is fantastic!!! I made them for a belated Hanukkah party yesterday and they were a big hit! We decided to make smaller 2 bite donuts so we formed 37 balls out of the dough. They took about 1 minute on each side. We rolled them on cinnamon sugar and filled them with strawberry jam, dulce de Leche (reminiscent of churros in the best way) and nutella. They had a wonderful crisp exterior, and airy but rich brioche-like interior. I'm looking forward to making them again soon!

Hi Lee - Yes! Your resting time will take longer, though, as you'll want them to come to room temperature. Enjoy!

I want to make this recipe but I’m stuck on what is meant by granulated yeast since rapid rise doesn’t act the same as active dry or instant. Can you clarify please?
