Oh my goodness! Made your pecan pie recipe e/out the chocolate yesterday. Used Lyle’s golden syrup (Amazon) instead of Karo. It is best pecan I’ve ever had and I live, and was reared. In the south! I had to give most all of the pie away to neighbors to make sure I didn’t eat it all.

The part I haven’t mastered is you Perfect Pie Dough recipe – think I need to blend butter a bit better and use less water – but, golly – it’s sooo delicious – w 12 TBPS of butter – how could it not be delicious! Will definitely make this for Thanksgiving.

My neighbors think I’m a genius baker – have given you all the credit. Thank you.
