One bite in to these Raspberry Cheesecake Streusel bars sent my Bridge friends into a new love affair. They all went home with extras and I will be also be baking these for our 4th of July party. Just delicious!

Hi Barbara,

You can always use vanilla extract or a vanilla bean. Pure vanilla is expensive, because of the labor involved in harvesting vanilla beans.

I made this but didn’t like it.
The crust was so hard. I baked it less time than what he said. Also it is not sweet. This is the second recipe from his book and didn’t work I don’t know why.
