I made the cake yesterday and it is perfectly moist as made following the recipe with butter. Anytime I have ever made banana bread using an oil it turns out as expected…oily. Stick to the recipe and you will be pleased with the result. A delicious cake. I did caramel use the bananas for one layer and made a honey coffee buttercream but the flavors were all the same. Very delicious.]]></description>

I did my first ever Buttercream from here that gave me the confidence to try a Swiss Meringue, smile...visiting your blog is always beautiful experience...

Have a doubt here regarding the Banana cake whether i may substitute some or all of the butter with neutral oil...
Banana being fibrous,  I thought, would benefit from the addition of oil, making it more moist...do correct me if I am wrong,  and kindly help with how i may sub the butter with oil when free....many Thanks! Hugs!]]></description>
