It IS the Perfect Lemon Bundt Cake! Just a delight to make and eat. Tender crumb, beautiful mouth-feel and perfect lemon flavor, the best!

I didn’t do the soak but instead dusted the interior of the Bundt pan with granulated sugar and that created such a rustic crunchy crust that dressed it down a bit for breakfast or brunch. Love Bundts!

Baked this exact recipe in Denver and it was too dense and dry. I haven’t had to adjust for high altitude for any other cake recipes from Zoe Bakes Cakes, so I didn’t for this recipe. I couldn’t finish a whole slice and didn’t want to eat it again.

This cake is surprisingly better than most pound cakes and I have had lots of good pound cakes. I took it to a dinner, and the look on their faces when they took the first bite…. spectacular! It’s so much more than a typical pound cake. It must be the cold butter technique or maybe it’s the glaze. Who cares, It’s now my “go to” cake. Yonnie

Hi I am making this cake for the first time. Question, do you sift the flour? It is not mentioned in the directions for preparing the cake. Just asking for us novice bakers.

I made this dessert for NYE, it tastes delicious. I did not add any ginger and it was perfect with just the lemon. My only problem was it did not completely cook. This happens to me with banana bread as well. Any ideas on what I am doing wrong?
