I'm getting ready to make one of these for breakfast tomorrow morning. Dutch baby pancakes is a favorite in this house for Sunday breakfast. We love it with just some maple syrup. Your pictures really capture the magic and deliciousness of these pancakes. : )

This is called a Dutch Baby. I love making it for my toddler too on weekend mornings after sleeping in. We like it pretty plain with just a light dusting of powdered sugar, and maybe some whipped cream on the side to eat with. Do you have any tips on how to delay the inevitable deflating as much as possible? I know it is just as delicious fallen, but the thing is such a glorious sight coming out of the oven I've always thought it's a shame that mine never stays very highly puffed up when it makes to the table.

I have never heard of them before, but I am glad to be introduced--better late than never. The picture of the pancake in the oven looks gorgeous. While I suspect that to be your skill in photographing, may I know what lens you have used?
